Apple’s Holiday Bonus: Longer Return Times on Gifts!

Apple has activated its special holiday return policy in the United States, Japan, Turkey, and a few other countries, allowing customers extra time to return their products.

Under usual conditions, Apple offers a standard return period of 14 days for its devices across the globe.

To benefit from the extended return timeline, purchases must be made directly from Apple, either via their online store or at a physical retail location. The products eligible for this extension include iPhones, iPads, Macs, the Apple Watch, and various Apple accessories. For items bought in the US from November 3 through December 25, returns can be processed until January 8, 2024. Spain and Japan offer an even more generous timeframe, accepting returns until January 20, 2024.

This policy is particularly advantageous for holiday shoppers buying gifts and applies exclusively to products purchased from Apple’s official sales channels. Purchases from third-party sellers and Apple Authorized resellers are excluded.

Please be aware that Apple’s regular 14-day return policy will be reinstated for items purchased after December 25, 2023.

It’s important to note that this extended return window does not apply to software, gift cards, and products designed for developers. Additionally, if you’ve activated a new mobile line with your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, returning the hardware won’t automatically deactivate the line; you’ll need to contact your carrier to manage that aspect.

Furthermore, iPhones purchased with T-Mobile financing are not qualified for the extended return period.

For comprehensive information regarding the extended holiday return policy, customers should consult the Returns and Refunds section on Apple’s official website.
